What Life is Like The last time i sang was this past Sunday at church. When did you? later. :) Current mood: Current music: None-Watching "Dirty Jobs" on Discovery Channel. The comedian that makes me pee in my pants laughing would have to be Ron White. He's from Texas like myself. But he's from a small in Texas called Finch I think. Someone correct me if i am wrong about that. So what's your answer? later. :) Current mood: Current music: None-Watching "Decorating Cents" on HGTV. Hello everyone, Even though it is unlucky Friday the 13th, I had a good thing happen today. Got to do a phone interview with an employee at the Container Store today. It was basically like a getting to know me type of thing. This is definitely a company that i would like to work for. They're in the Fortune 500 and have been at the top for the past 9 out of 10 years. Pretty impressive. I'm a little more excited about the prospect of working there. Whee!!! I'm going in for a group interview on Monday at 6pm. Now i've just got to talk to the girl who is training me and see if it is okay for me to head out earlier so I'm back in time for the interview. I think everything is going to start working out for me now. But next step is getting past the group interview. Hopefully this won't be too intimidating. Have to wait and see. Everyone wish me luck. later. :) Current mood: Current music: Spyro Gyra-"Feelin Fine". Well it's Thursday and almost the end of the week. Today is also another cool day. For those of you golf fans out there. Today is the first round of The Masters tournament in Augusta, Georgia. If you would like to see live coverage go to http://www.masters.org and look for Amen Corner Live. This is a first time to do live round coverage on the internet. You can see the coverage leading up to USA network taking over around 5pm EST today. I'm listening right now to the coverage. It's really awesome. I have to work tomorrow from 5:00pm - 8:00pm. Which means go into work early and workout before work starts. Whee!!! Need to get my third day in tomorrow because Saturday I have to work from 9:00am-1:00pm. Plus we should be getting the contact sheets from the pictures last week. Can't wait to see what those look like. I hope that Bill and I like them. Can't wait. Need to go gather a few things up before work. Clear up some of Bill's stuff and take it to various places. Also probably take another Claritin before I head to work. Still find myself sneezing my head off in certain moments. Ugh. And going through Kleenex like it is going out of style. Double ugh. Time to sign off. Get some things done before I head off. later. :) Current mood: Current music: None-Watching Amen Corner Live on Masters.org. Well, it's the start of another long week of work. I'm ready to find out what my schedule looks like for the next 2 weeks. I hope it's not working all week solid for 2 weeks except being off on Saturdays. Ugh. My nose if feeling runny again, but then again that's nothing new. Voices United went really well yesterday. I was sorry it was over. The clinican, Joseph F. Martin, is giving a piano concert tonight at 7pm at Manassas Baptist Church in Manassas tonight. I'm hoping that Bill makes it home so he can come with me. I'll just have to see. I may call him in a bit and ask him if he'd like to come. That way we can go do something together. Never mind, he just called me, so I let him know about it. Right at the moment I'm watching the NASCAR Nextel series drivers racing at Bristol, Tennessee. This is one of the short tracks they run each year. This is also a race that they run 500 laps to equal 500 miles. They've had at least 3 cautions. They're in red flag conditions right now because there is a considerable amount of oil on the track. So they've got some trucks out drying the track and trying to get it clear up. It also snowed and qualifying was snowed out. The townhouse across from us has a For Sale sign out front. There's at least 2 on this street that I can see. And another one for sale down on the other side of the neighborhood. Husband is out trying to find out what's wrong with the computer. He's going to have a memory chip tested to see if it still works or is fried. I'll find out in a little while. In the meantime, I'm going to work on getting the living room and the kitchen cleared up a bit better. And do a little reading and try to get this 64 oz. of water drunk before the day is over. later. :) Current mood: Current music: None-Watching NASCAR on FOX. Well I am kinda tired right now. As a matter of fact, I was yawning my head off on the way home and I still am right now. I am fixing to go to bed. Went to see a piano trio tonight which was really good. I'll write more about that tomorrow. Right now I'm ready to fall on my face. But first, I have to go get my contacts out and head to bed. Oops... forgot to pay a bill tonight. I'll be sure to do that tomrrow. Sorry I'm not making too much sense but I stayed up till almost 1 am and then getting up around 7 am to go to a choir practice. Need to run. I'm getting pretty sleepy. later. :) Current mood: Current music: Motley Crue, "Too Fast For Love".
Here's the picture of Lizzy that I promised. She's 16 weeks old today and she's a cutie. Can be a bit of a handful at times, but we love her. Hope you all like the picture. later. :)
Here's Diana and I at the book fair. If this works, I'll be thrilled. Thought that you all might enjoy seeing this. later. :) Remember how I said that it was windy earlier? Well, it's now spitting snow at the moment. Don't think that this is going to amount to anything at the moment. Have to wait and see. Wind is blowing but I can't tell if it's doing it as hard as it was this morning. And it's getting dark too. Boy am I going to be glad when Daylight Savings time starts again. That means more hours of daylight, yeah!!!! Well need to go mop the kitchen floor. later. :) Current mood: Current music: None-Listening to Smooth Jazz on Music Choice on Comcast. Well, I had a good morning today until I went out to the car this afternoon and discovered the right front tire was completely flat. Ugh!!!! And thank goodness my husband was home so that I could take his car. I drove over a glass bottle and I think that is what punctured the tire. My husband is going to take the car to a tire place and get it taken care of after he gets home tomorrow afternoon. And I had to go to work when I discovered this lovely hitch. And I've got almost a full tank of gas in that vehicle. Double ugh!!!! Right now, I'm going to be taking trash out and taking down some of the Christmas decorations. Going to workout tomorrow after my husband comes home. Seeing as I have no vehicle right now. Then I'll sit and read for a little bit. later. :) Current mood: Current music: None-Watching "The Living Daylights" on AMC. |
